I wish there were a zero star for this…

I wish there were a zero star for this store. The salesman would try to make you a fool by charging high prices. Moreover, they have a “no return” policy even if you have not opened the package. So be careful while buying from there. I would suggest do not buy from here.

Such a HORRIBLE TERRIBLE experience

Such a HORRIBLE TERRIBLE experience, wasted over an hour transferring me from one representative to another and kept telling, let me transferring you to the right department. Transferred me seven times and then hanged up. NEVER NEVER waste your time and money and I would never buy or purchase anything from Ashley after such a terrible experience

Beware, Do Not Buy Furniture from Ashley’s…

Do Not Buy Furniture from Ashley’s Furniture, all Garbage!
I purchased 3pieces of furniture from them on July 16,2022, a long sofa, recliner, and love sofa which was $2550.37. Once the furniture arrived, I looked over it, and found many defects on the first 2 they delivered. The two delivery guys dragged the sofas upstairs. I reported that immediately and then reported the defects. I have never seen so many rude representatives in my life, and they’re suppose to be knowledgeable. I went through calling customer service and the escalation team for 7 weeks. Finally 8 weeks later they picked up all 3 sofa’s 2 Friday ago. I called today to find out what was happening with my refund, and I was told that Ashley furniture approved $1600 to be refunded. I called to find out what happened to my $2550.37, and this dum representative said, “that was all that they refunded. If, I paid Ashley Furniture $2550.37,why in the hell would I get back $1600? I sat on the phone with Rose for 1hour 20 mins waiting for escalation, and no one every pick up the phone. When I paid for this furniture, your company got your money right away, and you want to play games now. Anyone would have to be real stupid to by their furniture here. It you have a problem, beware, it will not be addressed. They play lot’s of games at the Corporate office. BEWARE, READ REVIEWS, people do not lie!

We brought a sofa there but the stain…

We brought a sofa there but the stain free function we purchase didn't really work for too long, the stain were not that easy to remove as they state but overall the sofa was in good quality still, but just wish the stain free was more honest of offering.

Great Products TERRIBLE Store and Management

I guess some of these reviews were from a different management group. We ordered a bedroom suite from John Castoro at the Ashley's Mayfaire in Wilmington, NC who we thought was great in APRIL. We built a house and the closing date was moved up. We were told that there would be no problem in moving up the date; delivering to our house 30 miles away (another Ashley's was in our town) and we would have it delivered when we want. We were so impressed that we came back and ordered end tables. The total was around $4,000. In early August we were told we would have this in a couple weeks. After texts for four weeks in which we were told the delivery date was now mid-September, I found out it was on indefinite hold. After being told for weeks the delivery was being escalated and notes to management and other similar excuses with no follow up, I went into the store to find out why and learned because we were 30 miles away, they would only deliver the furniture when all pieces were in the warehouse. Furthermore, I found out we were charged more and the order was being held up because we were "out of route" for the Wilmington store. I had enough so I wanted a refund. After more excuses, I said to cancel the order ...the GM said was I rude..after only hearing about the canceled order. He didn't acknowledge the rudeness of being neglected for MONTHS and lied to about the delivery times and the reason for the delay. I have bought from Ashley's furniture since 1992 and love the quality and the brand. BUT DON"T GO TO The Wilmington, NC Mayfaire Ashley's on market road. You will learn the art of runaround and arrogance.

I wish I could give 0 stars

I wish I could give 0 stars, but 1 is the lowest so I'll do that. I bought a $3,000 couch 6 months ago. A sectional. We were told we were buying the whole sectional and I confirmed several times it wasn't just one piece. And they showed up with part of it. We then had to buy the other part, which thankfully the manager gave us a discount on since we were misinformed. That was the only good thing I can say regarding my experience. The couch broke after a few days, even though we barely used it in those days.
My partner and I have since been dealing with the absolute worst service either of us have ever had. We call, we get hung up on. We are told we'll be called back, we get no calls. We have been calling, emailing, texting at least twice a week for 6 months with hardly anyone responding. Finally a month ago we were able to get the replacement piece delivered... And they wouldn't accept the broken piece that we've had for 5 months because it had like 10 pieces of small dog hair. We have 2 small dogs and we've been trying to get the piece replaced for SIX MONTHS. If the company had gotten the piece replaced when we called about it SIX MONTHS AGO, maybe there wouldn't be any dog hair, but as it is it's impossible to get every molecule off. Especially when we have to wait weeks and months to finally get delivery service here. You expect us to just never let a dust particle of dog hair on the couch????? Oh, and the second time they finally got the piece shipped out, which was today, we were told yet again it couldn't be replaced because of the dog hair. I asked where in the contract it says it can't be accepted with a miniscule amount of dog hair. I was told it's in the DELIVERY DRIVER'S contract, but not ours... With no due respect, that is NOT my problem. We even had a rep weeks ago say she would put a note on the drivers' order form saying to take the piece even if there is dog hair because it's ridiculous. And that didn't happen. We were told today that the drivers would have to pay out of pocket if there was hair. So... Your company is now guilt tripping us into keeping a $3,000 BROKEN couch that we paid a $400 warranty on? No. I do not care about the $2 that the driver might have to pay for the 10 god dang pieces of hair on this BROKEN couch that we've been trying to get fixed for SIX MONTHS. Again, maybe if there was proper customer service and literally anybody responded to our 100+ calls and emails, maybe the couch wouldn't have hair because it wouldn't be sitting in our small apartment with 2 shedding dogs for, and I can't say this enough, SIX. MONTHS. I also know the shipping company is separate from Ashley, but since they work together, it should have been stated in OUR warranty contract that the warranty is basically null and void if there's hair on the broken piece. Because if that was the case, I wouldn't have paid $400 EXTRA for a service that wasn't going to be provided anyway.
I can not express how angry this whole ordeal has made me, it's taking all of my will power to not absolutely cuss every representative out or just dump the broken couch in front of Ashley Home and refuse to pay another cent. Because this is just ridiculous beyond measure, and I shouldn't be having to pay $3,000 and $400 for a warranty when all we've had is a broken, uncomfortable piece of furniture, and not a single rep or manager will help us. And I know it's just a couch, it's not the end of the world, but this thing was $3,000, I'm still paying on it, and it's been broken practically since the day we got it. We've had to use this now-very uncomfortable couch for half a god dang year and then we're told it can't be replaced because it has some hair on it???? And nobody has been willing or able to help us. We call and we're ignored, we have been incredibly patient and this company does not deserve it. I wish I had never even stepped foot inside the store, and I will be posting this review everywhere I can because maybe then we'll get some customer support on this BROKEN. $3K. PIECE OF CRAP FURNITURE. But probably not, if there's anything I've learned from the past half-year, it's that Ashley Home Furniture does not care about their customers.

Poor customer service

I purchased a couch and chair back in May. The couch was delivered broken. Now we are sept still not fixed. The company I have been sent to keeps canceling their appts to come look at it and Ashley will not do anything further. Super frustrating. I will not make another purchase at Ashely Furniture again - this Shld have been made right after I was canceled on the second time.

HORRIBLE!!

Spent about $10k in Charleston on 2 bedroom sets, living room set, dining set with server, accent table & rug. On delivery, the furniture was scratched, gouged, unaligned & mirror was broken. The server was missing a chunk out of the foot & the delivery driver was told "it should be fine to deliver like that". We were missing most of the kitchen set. Driver said the warehouse doesn’t care, sent it knowing it was messed up, gave it a kiss & said good luck. Was told they weren't supposed to put together our living room set but everything else was to be put together. They left it wrapped in the cardboard & plastic which took 6 hours to deal with because the screws holding the plywood to the feet were all stripped & some broken in the feet. Grace at Customer Care is extremely rude. She told me she was the mgr but was later told that customer care doesn’t have mgt. Everything was supposed to be reordered but I still got texts from the tech that they were coming out to do repairs. The rest of our kitchen set was pushed back to August. The store offered a $300 total refund on $10k of furniture, which doesn’t even cover tax. Portea in corporate promised to have this resolved with a $950 refund & $250 gift card and we were sent $100. The 2nd delivery came & was worse than the 1st. We sent one barstool back as well as it had so much glue oozing out of it & down the sides, it looked like a kindergarten art project. After weeks of going back & forth trying to get our new chair delivered, it finally came & the driver literally bounced it off our driveway & the yard decorations before dropping it down. I refused this chair as well as it was all damaged from the driver & he pitched a fit & threw the chair in the truck. I asked to be refunded instead of a new stool & was promised a refund of one barstool & another refund of $950 by 3 people. Today they said they were only doing $169 for the stool & not the $950. Overpriced junk with horrible customer service that lies.

Stop wasting your money at Ashley

Ashley furniture is the worst, very bad quality products, very bad customer service, on Aug 13 2022, I've bought recliner Sofa and the Sofa is very bad, it's half reclined (without reclining it), ask Ashley to return, customer service reply with the same template that you've only 72 hours to return the Sofa no matter what

Sectional went Wrong

I bought a 7 piece grey sectional from Ashley Furniture and was promised the chaise lounges would be on the left side looking at it. Of course, once it was delivered the chaise lounge is in the right side and blocks off my dining room. I called customer service numerous times, they said it was the reps fault in Fultondale AL location-she was new. So the manager reached out to me, said if I want to correct it, then it would be 20% of total cost plus delivery fee…really for your stores mess up?! Almost $1000 to correct something your rep placed in your system incorrectly.

Cant find a manager when there is a problem, ASHLEY HOME STORE ON 7780 S CICERO HAS ENGAGED IN DECEPTIVE PRACTICES, 6 DAYS AGO WE AGREED TO PURCHASE PRODUCT FROM ASHLEY, I FOUND AFTER 4 DAYS THAT IS MARKED UP ALMOST $2000 FROM OTHER RETAILERS, I WISH TO CANCEL THIS PURCHASE IMMEDIATELY AND WILL NOT BE TAKING DELIVERY IN 2 MONTHS AND WILL NOT BE PAYING ANY FEES OR RESTOCKING FEES TO CANCEL THIS DECEPTIVE TRANSACTION ON WHICH DELIVERY WOULD HAVE BEEN 60 DAYS OUT, THE DISHONESTY OF ASHLEY IS DEPLORABLE, I WANT THE SALE IS HALTED BEFORE MOVEMENT, A PRICE $2000 ABOVE OTHERS IS NOTHING LESS THAN PRICE GOUGING, I REFUSE TO PAY A RANDOM $500 CANCELLATION FEE, THE CONTRACT AND ASHLEY MANAGEMENT SAYS " I MAY HAVE TO PAY A FEE " NOW TO REFUSE TO BUY THEIR PRODUCT, JUST BECAUSE I DISCOVERED A PRICE GOUGE, THIS IS FRAUD AND DECEIT, WE WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DECEPTIVE GROUP OF COMMISSION HOUNDS AGAIN
